From 22 May to 22 August, during the Venice Architecture Biennale, the project Camparino in Galleria (Milan) by Lissoni Casal Ribeiro will be on view at the "Casa Platform” exhibition, a unique venture organized by the architecture and design magazine Platform, at the Scuola Grande di Santa Maria della Misericordia in Venice.
This prestigious location will simultaneously host two themed exhibitions involving a total of 140 architectural firms. The first, entitled "Best Italian Interior Design", offers a international panorama of diverse typologies of interior design (residential, hospitality, retail, etc.), all authored by Italian architects. The second, entitled "Best International Houses", features 70 living spaces located across many continents that were selected by a jury from nominations received from around the world.
The restyling of Camparino in Galleria was carried out with full regard for the history of the location in terms of its aesthetic and social significance. For Lissoni Casal Ribeiro, the renovation of such a renominated institution as the Camparino meant reviving certain tenets of Milanese interior design while seeking to maintain intact the concept of conviviality and sociality that forms such an intrinsic part of the city.
