Grand Park Hotel featured in Departures

The Piero Lissoni-designed interior of the Grand Park Hotel in the Croatian harbor town of Rovinj was recently featured in Departures Hotels Issue for its remarkable use of its spectacular setting on the Adriatic. 

“It doesn’t matter where you are in the hotel. Everything is facing the Adriatic. You see the panorama, the old town, the church, and trees and trees and trees,” said Lissoni to Departures. 

Almost every aspect of the 209-room, six-story hotel, from the minimalist elegant interior spaces and furnishings to the staff uniforms was designed to complement the natural setting. The heart of the design, the glass walled lobby, provides access to the two-story restaurant and terrace where the best views of the Adriatic and historic city center can be found.
