The People I Like
The Triennale Milano pays tribute to the photographer Giovanni Gastel (Milan, 1955 - 2021) with two exhibitions: The people I like, in collaboration with MAXXI, the National Museum of 21st Century Arts in Rome, and I gioielli della fantasia, in collaboration with Mufoco, the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Milan.
The people I like (from 1st December 2021 to 13th March 2022), curated by Uberto Frigerio with fit-out by Lissoni Associati, presents over 200 portraits that are witness to the immense variety of associations that distinguished the long career of Gastel. A labyrinth of faces, poses of figures from the world of culture, design, art, fashion, music, entertainment and politics.
