Filippo La Mantia's new restaurant in Milan is a modern take on Sicilian traditional dining. Filippo's passions, which include music, photography, motorbikes, are beautifully rendered in the design by Piero Lissoni. The space extends for 1,800 square meters over two floors in a multi-ethnic atmosphere that radiates a Mediterranean air. The furniture was selected or custom designed by Piero Lissoni. A bookcase takes up an entire wall but has no books. Instead, Richard Ginori porcelain and anthropomorphic vases from Caltagirone are brilliantly displayed in the space.
