The Conservatorium Hotel opened in 2011 and represented the rebirth of a historic building in Amsterdam. An old conservatory building combined with a new modern glass structure came together in concept and design to create this new dynamic destination that respects Dutch architectural history while integrating a modern architectural language. For this project, Lissoni created the interior designs for the 130 rooms and suites, as well as the conference center, brasserie, common areas, and the fitness and wellness center. A signature element of the property is its glass-enclosed courtyard.
