Mamilla Hotel
- Jerusalem

2009

Like much of the built environment in Jerusalem, the Mamilla Hotel is part new and part old – bridging two eras in one place. The hotel opened in the center of the city in the summer of 2009. The eight-story, 15,400-square-meter facility features 194 guestrooms and suites. Lissoni was responsible for overseeing the complete interior design of the guestrooms and suites, bars and restaurants, the lobby, and the spa. In the design concept, great emphasis was placed on the interplay of light, contemporary furniture, and modern acoustics. As part of the commission, Lissoni designed original furniture and light fixtures for the iconic property.
