Dorothea Hotel Official Opening
The Dorothea Hotel, with interior design by Lissoni & Partners, has officially opened in Budapest.
The hotel is a blend of architecture and interior design that fuses history and modernity. The three buildings date back to different eras and include the Weber (1873), the neo-renaissance former headquarters of the United Budapest Metropolitan Savings Bank, the Mahart (1913), the art nouveau former headquarters of the Hungarian River and Sea Shipping Company, and the Munnich (1937), a modernist building with art deco and Bauhaus elements.
