Designer Piero Lissoni has developed an elegant take on ancient Japanese matting, reinterpreting it in a selection of stones that echo the natural tones of the rush and cotton traditionally used. A refined and understated choice, Stone Tatami exemplifies the elusive principles of subtle beauty in Japanese design. The Tatami tiles can be used on their own, or together with a honed border in a contrasting or complementary colour to replicate the original traditional pattern.
