The hotel Casa Fantini is an intimate oasis, with just eleven rooms. For this assignment, Piero lissoni used natural materials like wood and stone to create a space in perfect equilibrium with the landscape and the spirit of the location. The hotel consists of two buildings facing the lake, one old and the other new, both integrated into the surrounding landscape. The façade of the new building is composed of thin Accoya wood slats, cut to emphasize its materiality, and placed at regular intervals to create a dynamic visual effect.
