“It’s a perfect bridge - my structural idea of a bridge or the base of a building. It’s a suspended object and like a bridge it can have two facades: the static part and the moveable part. It came to me thinking about the bascule bridge in the movie Blues Brothers, the one that opens during one of their first escapes, which I found really intriguing.” Piero Lissoni
