The poetry of essentiality: the striking feature of the new Ventiquattro table is the degree to which every component has been minimized - a rectangular transparent glass top with beveled edges revealing the tubular stainless steel structure that is available in a range of finishes. Piero Lissoni takes a rationalistic approach, focusing on pure lines to create a piece of furniture with a technological and futuristic aesthetic. Inspired by the frame of a bicycle or motorcycle, the supporting structure of Ventiquattro consists of a steel perimeter attached to four uprights, as if the base of a building, pushing the structural concept to the limit to achieve great solidity even with seemingly impossible lengths.
